Personal Physician Care — General Adult Internal Medicine

This is the foundation of everything at Thrive. Comprehensive, unhurried, individualized care for adults navigating the full complexity of their health. Whether you are managing chronic illness, addressing a new concern, or simply looking for a physician who will engage seriously with your questions — this is where that begins.

This includes preventive evaluations, chronic disease management, problem-based visits, and the kind of ongoing relationship that allows your physician to understand not just your diagnoses but your life. Referrals to specialists are made thoughtfully and selectively — because the goal is to bring clarity, not to route complexity elsewhere.

Geriatric Medicine and Complex Care

For older adults whose needs require more than a standard office visit, Thrive offers a depth of attention that the conventional system rarely provides. We coordinate care across specialists, diagnostic services, home health, physical and occupational therapy, and pharmacy — not as a paperwork exercise but as an active clinical role. We also offer home visits for patients for whom travel is a barrier, based on distance.

The philosophy here is straightforward: quality of life is not a secondary consideration. It is the point.

Medical Cannabis Certification

Dr. Medeiros offers physician oversight and certification for the medical use of cannabis in Massachusetts, with a particular focus on chronic pain and anxiety management. This is conducted with the same rigor and individualization as all care at Thrive — not as a rubber stamp, but as a genuine clinical conversation.

Going Deeper — KNX Health Optimization

For patients who want to move beyond managing illness into actively optimizing how they feel, perform, and age, Thrive offers access to KNX — a framework for lifelong wellness built on the same evidence-based, individualized philosophy as everything else here.

KNX draws on your body’s own physiology — including PNOĒ metabolic breath testing, which provides precise data on how your body burns energy and utilizes oxygen — to build a picture of your health that goes beyond standard lab work. The goal is not more interventions. It is fewer, better ones, grounded in an understanding of how your body specifically works.

KNX is available to all Thrive patients as an extension of the care relationship.

Pricing and Payment

We are a predominantly cash-based practice — not despite our commitment to quality, but because of it. Transparency about cost is a form of respect. At Thrive, you know what your care costs before it is rendered, not after.

We welcome HSA, FSA, and HRA payments. For patients with commercial insurance, we are out-of-network but provide superbills for direct submission to your plan. Medicare enrollment is currently available on a limited basis — please call us to discuss your options.
